While in library today I stumbled across the Etiquette Section. I hadn't known that such a section existed, but now know that the size of Emily Post's copious and detailed descriptions of proper living create their own section wherever they appear.
I also had the pleasure of finding that Miss Manner's has also quite an influence on Modern Society and the manners thereof. The titles of which, in true Pickwickian form, provided me with no small measure of enjoyment. She is apparently the oracle on which Modern Society must rely for Rearing Perfect Children, Excruciatingly Correct Manners, Domestic Tranquility and a Surprisingly Dignified Wedding.
Should you be lacking in any of these areas, Miss Manners will provide that much needed guidance for your life.

ReplyDelete....some people prefer to ingrain gilmore girls style or etiquette into their daughters' heads....therein to have much amusing jests within the family.
