You know what I really want.. To see the Church function as a family, with fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters... Jesus was a son before he was born (it's an identity thing).
To see that family in LOVE with Father God, with Jesus, and Holy Spirit (who is just so fun and nice).
To see men and women as brothers and sisters, not as objects, as competition, or as danger zones. And in this way gender may be healed. Fully masculine, fully feminine, fully equal without competition and without feeling threatened. Confidence. Honor.
To see social reform, core values instead of bandaids over gaping wounds, dams holding back torrents. Honor. The connection of resources to needs.
Intelligence redeemed. Valued. Not rationalism, but intelligence. Critical thinking, but not at the expense of the spirit, of mystery. Aesthetics enjoyed, created, studied, anointed.
And a sunny beach to lie upon.
